Greetings, Junior High families! Below are some friendly reminders for your child and their respective program. Please read/review at your earliest convenience.

September 1: Our 6th Grade Orientation is tomorrow! Those students whose last names begin with the letters A - L, will attend the morning program which begins at 9:00 AM. Those students whose last names begin with the letters M - Z, will attend our 1:00 PM program. Please note that this program is for students only. Everyone enters and exits through the main entrance on 5th Street. We expect the program to last about 2 hours, so please plan your pick-up arrangements with your child accordingly. Thank you so much for your patience throughout this process!
September 2: Chromebook Distribution for all synchronous, asynchronous (i.e. IDEAL Cyber), or 7th - 8th grade Hybrid learners whose last names begin with the letters M - Z are to come to the Gym Entrance of the Junior High School to collect your child’s Chromebook on September 2nd. From 8:00 - 3:30, parents/guardians will enter our main parking lot from 4th Street onto Shyrock Ave and from there, proceed to the Gym Entrance. That location is marked by the red awning and door #9.
- Drive your car alongside the Gym Entrance.
- State your child’s name and grade.
- Faculty/staff will retrieve your child’s Chromebook and hand it to you in your car.
** If you have a Chromebook from last school year please return and we will replace it with a new one.
September 8: Day #1 of school for all students.
- 6th Graders that are returning in-school:
- Mon/Tues in-school
- Wednesday-synchronous
- Thur/Fri in-school
- 7th - 8th Graders that chose Hybrid (2 days- in-school/3 days - synchronous).
- A - L Monday-Tuesday in-school, Wednesday - Friday, synchronous.
- M - Z Thursday- Friday in-school, Monday - Wednesday synchronous.
*All other students are either full-time IDEAL or full-time synchronous.

AM screening checks before school. Please check from home as well.
Masks
We are mandated to enforce masks in school. However, we are encouraging frequent mask breaks, both scheduled and upon request whenever we can adhere to the social distance guidelines.
